About Us

West Frogwell Farm is the home of "THE WEST FROGWELL HERD" of pedigree British Saddleback pigs.

• We keep two boar lines - Stockbroker and Carl - and two sow lines - Dinah and Rosette.
• We have boars at stud and also sell weaners for rare breed pork.
• Quality breeding stock usually available from birth registered pedigree weaners, maiden in pig gilts and stock boars.
• Free advice and help always available at the end of a phone or email.

All our stock is hardy and reared outside. Saddlebacks are one of the most docile of all the rare breeds and they are superb mothers. We do not practice teeth clipping, tail docking or castrations. This stress free organically principled approach allows us to produce the high quality tasty succulent pork we are becoming renowned for. The food miles of our produce are negligible. and we believe this is also reflected in the taste.

• We also produce high quality Cornish lamb in season which is sold in our shop alongside our pork in joints or bulk orders to order.
• We are producing fresh free range chicken again available to order as well as fine fresh free range eggs, chicken and duck.
• We have a small fleet of 1.5 ton and 3 ton 360 degree excavators and tipper lorries for hire and we are registered waste carriers.
• We manufacture and deliver a range of animal houses throughout the South West right up to the home counties.
